Jeffrey A. Clouser

Jeffrey Alan Clouser, 60, passed away in Hendricks County on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on November 18, 1963, a son of Harold Chesley Clouser and the late Margaret Jane (Wyant) Clouser.

Jeffrey attended Western Boone High School and served honorably in the United States Army.

He was married to Shawn (Leath) Clouser in October of 1993 in Boone County, and later divorced.

Jeffrey owned Action Muffler and Brake and formerly owned J&J Muffler in Lebanon. He also owned and operated Jeff’s Toy Box in Thorntown from 2004 to 2011.

Jeffrey was a member of Life’s Journey Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan and his love for cars extended to his collection of Hot Wheels and Slot Cars. He also had a talent for rebuilding computers.

Survivors include his father, Harold Chesley Clouser of Thorntown; daughters, Justine (James) Young of Anderson, Stephanie Clouser of Thorntown, and Lindsay Clouser of Lafayette; son, Ches Clouser of Thorntown; nine grandchildren, Brayden, Cayden, Caylee, Zachary, McKenzie, Bentley, Gavin, Jenna, and J’Leeanna; brother, Jay A. Clouser of Evansville; sister, Shawna Foster of Tennessee; and aunts, Kay Kristiansen of Arizona and Andy Wyant of Arizona.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Life’s Journey Church, 522 Powell Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Myers & Hunt Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
