Jeffrey L. Woollen, 68, Rossville, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born in Lafayette on November 27, 1953 to Oliver and Eleanor (Suter) Woollen.
Jeffrey worked for Fairfield Manufacturing for 43 years and was a member of the Rossville Fire Department for 15 years. He was a generous man that was always willing to help another in need. Jeffrey enjoyed going out to eat every week at Treece’s, gathering with his Fairfield fellow retirees, driving and going to car shows. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and taking them to dinner.
Jeffrey is survived by his sons, Kevin (Karen) Woollen and Keith Woollen; a sister-in-law, Dianna Woollen; niece, Jenna Horton; nephew, Ryan Dilley; aunts, Velma Ford and Barb Suter; and grandchildren, Collin, Brayden, Abigail, Andrew, and Jacob Woollen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Beverly Woollen and Phil Woollen; and his cat, Sandman.
Visitation will be held, Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5-8pm at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 4 at 10:30am at the funeral home. Pastor Allen Weldy will officiate. Burial will follow at Mennonite Cemetery in Mulberry. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
