Jenita (Hooton) Neff, 79, of rural Frankfort, died September 25, 2018 at her home. She was born November 16, 1938 in Cayuga, Ind. to the late Charles & Jaunita (Shelto) Hooton. She married Jesse Neff at the Antioch Church on January 1, 1962 and he survives.
Jenita was a 1956 graduate of Cayuga High School. She was a bus driver for over 30 years for Clinton Prairie School Corporation. Jenita attended the Scotland Church.
Surviving family includes her Husband: Jesse J. Neff of rural Frankfort, IN; Daughter: Penny Dougherty of Emerson, GA; 2 Sons: Brad (Bette) Neff of Jamestown, IN and John Neff of Guerneville, CA; Colombian Son: Oscar Nieto, Sister: Beverly Witsman of Danville, IL; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Onita Howe and Mary Webb and 2 brothers, Bill Hooton and George Hooton.
Friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the funeral home. Ed Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery.
