Jerry L. Davis, 77, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Mulberry Health. He was born in Frankfort on January 24, 1943 to Ithiel “Mike” and Mildred (Wilkins) Davis. He married Mary Louise (Young) Rose on July 24, 1993; she survives.
Jerry graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1961. He was a lifelong farmer and served in the National Guard. He was a member of the Gideons and a former member of Pleasant Hill Church.
Surviving with his wife, Louise, are his children; Dale (wife Natalie) Davis of Frankfort, Sandra Barr of Flora, Andrew Davis and Jeffery Davis both of Frankfort; step-children, James (wife Diane) Rose of Savannah, Georgia and Jonathan (wife Stacey) of Orion, Michigan; sisters, Carolyn Davis of Covington, Betty (husband Lee) Williams of Kingman, and Beverly (husband Jack) Kauffman of West Lafayette; 24 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.
Private family services will be held. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is entrusted with the arrangements.
