Sgt. Jordan Tyler Earle Hammel, 25, of Mulberry, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was born April 7, 1993, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Steve and Janet (Isbell) Hammel.
Jordan graduated from Clinton Prairie in 2011 and attended Lincoln College. In 2012, he joined the Marine Reserves and achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was currently employed with Caterpillar in the receiving department. Jordan enjoyed hunting and motorcycles but most of all he was a dad that loves his boy.
In addition to his parents, Jordan is survived by his two-year-old son Kaden Tyler Earle; brother, Christopher (Chris) of Colfax; and maternal grandmother, Phyllis Schultz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a trust fund for Kaden’s future.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 5 – 8 pm at Genda Funeral Home – Mulberry Chapel. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 21, at 10 am with Joel Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Cemetery.
