Jose “Joe” G. Salas, 85, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born July 19, 1933, in Montemorelos, Mexico, Jose Garcia and Naty Salas. He was formerly married to the late Ruth Ann (Archibald) Salas. Joe worked as a journeyman brick layer for over 60 years.
Surviving Jose are his daughter, Danielle Vice, of Frankfort; brother, Padro “Pete” Garcia, of Georgia; two sisters, Rosario Garcia, of Mexico, and Altagracia Garcia, of CA; grandsons, Dustin M. Gregory and Joseph R. Gregory; and great grandchildren, Jaelynn and Malachi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frank Garcia.
