Joyce M. Shrock, 73, of rural Frankfort, died March 17, 2022 at Franciscan Health, Lafayette, Ind. She was born October 15, 1948 in Frankfort, Ind. to William A. & Esther Ruth (Bragg) Smith. She married Michael Shrock on October 18, 1975 and he preceded her in death on August 9, 2009.
Joyce was a graduate of Frankfort High Sc
hool and a lifelong Clinton County resident. She had worked for Rotech in Lafayette, Ind. She was a member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Frankfort. Joyce enjoyed socializing with friends at The Frankfort Diner, loved going to church and was a generous, kind hearted animal lover.
She is survived by 2 nieces: Tonya S. (Jamie) Foster of Delphi, Crystal D. (John) Collins of Frankfort, nephew: James W. “Jim” Smith II of Frankfort, brother: Ralph E. (Sharon) Smith of Lafayette, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James W. Smith Sr.
Funeral Services:
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2022 at Kilmore Cemetery.
