Judi K. Wagenknecht

Judi K. Wagenknecht, 68 of Dayton, formerly of Frankfort, passed away at her residence, Saturday, January 18, 2020.  She was born June 27, 1951 in Logansport to Troy and Ellen (Umbarger) Fry.  She was a 1969 graduate of Pioneer High School.  She worked most of her life in retail, working at JoAnn Fabrics, Plato’s Closet, and Wal-Mart from where she retired.  She was a happy person, that loved to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest.  She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, crocheting, making candles, clay making, and loved kittens.

Judi is survived by her daughters, Angela Howe of Frankfort, Katie Wagenknecht of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Paul Fry of Frankfort, granddaughters, Kenzie and Brianna Howe; and a great grandson, Owen Lee Howe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Greg Dunkle and an Infant son; brother, Dan Fry, and a sister, Janet Rhudy.

 

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Bible Holiness Church; 1947 W. Barner St, Frankfort.  Dr. David Fry will officiate.  Genda Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
