Judith K. Rudd, 84, of Frankfort, passed away June 26, 2025 at I.U. Health Arnett, Lafayette, IN. She was born February 15, 1941 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Merle D. & Violet (Palmerston) Cook. She married Ray Rudd on May 30, 1959 at the Highway 10 Baptist Church in North Judson, IN and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2016.
Judy moved to Frankfort in 1972, when she and her husband Ray founded Ray Rudd Buick – Pontiac dealership which operated until 2008. She was of the Baptist faith. Judy and Ray enjoyed wintering in Florida. She enjoyed gospel singing events, shopping and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Crum of Frankfort, Ron (Rhonda) Rudd of Frankfort, Doug (Linda) Rudd of Kirklin, Buffy (Rodney) Smith of Frankfort, brother, Merle Cook of NC, 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and twin great great-granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Tom Cook, and great-granddaughter, Navy Ray Rudd.
Visitation will be 10-12 Noon, July 8, 2025 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Jeff Yandell will officiate.
