Mrs. Karen Hiese, 77, passed away at her home in Advance, Indiana, on December 15, 2024. She was born July 13, 1947, in Kittitas, Washington, a daughter of the late Clifford Bussler and Cleo (Sizemore) Bussler.
On December 1, 1968, she was united in marriage to Gary Hiese in Washington; he survives.
Karen was a cashier at Kroger in Lebanon for many years and she also sold AVON Products for 40 years.
Karen was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved her family dearly.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Hiese of Advance; children, Carrie (Joe) Kline of Lafayette and Amanda Hiese of Chicago; grandchildren, Melissa (Blake) Whittinghill, Emily (Elliott) Jackson, Bethany (Logan) Peterman, and Lillianne Kline; seven great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister all living in Washington.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana.
