Kaspar Media Announces Sports Broadcast Changes

Kaspar Media is announcing an exciting new change in its sports coverage this fall on WILO-AM and FM.

Starting August, WILO will be broadcasting the “WILO Gridiron Game of the Week” that will feature our Clinton County teams — Frankfort, Clinton Central and Clinton Prairie — but will also include teams outside of Clinton County such as Carroll, Delphi, Harrison, Lafayette Central Catholic, Lafayette Jefferson, Lebanon, McCutcheon, Northwestern, Tipton, Tri-Central, Twin Lakes, Western, West Lafayette and Western Boone. Rossville will be included when the basketball season rolls around.

“It’s going to be exciting for our sports team to select the most exciting game for our listeners to enjoy,” said Kaspar Media owner Russ Kaspar.

WILO is pleased to announce the first four games of the upcoming season have been set. They are:

Friday, August 17 — Clinton Central at Frankfort, 7 p.m.

Friday, August 24 — Carroll at Delphi, 7 p.m.

Friday, August 31 — Clinton Central at Clinton Prairie, 7 p.m.

Friday, September 7 — Lafayette Central Catholic at West Lafayette, 7:30 p.m.

The remaining games will be chosen on what the WILO Sports staff feels will be the best game for our listeners to enjoy. They will be announced approximately a week to 10 days ahead of their scheduled dates.

Kaspar Media will follow the same format when the basketball season embarks with the “WILO Hoosier Hoops game of the Week.”
