Kathleen J. Williams, 89, a former Frankfort resident, died March 31, 2018 in Demotte, Indiana. She was born April 13, 1928 in East Suffolk County, England to Arthur & Louisa Beatrice (Snowden) Matthews. Her marriage was to Richard D. Williams, Sr.
Kathleen attended school in England, moving to Clinton County, Indiana in 1947. She was a cook, working for Liz’s (N & W Railroad Diner) for 35 years. She then worked for Southside Cigar Store for 10 years. She was of the Christian Faith.
Family: 2 Daughters: Pauline (Larry) Allen of Demotte, Ind., Gayla Jo Williams of Mississippi, 1 Son: Norman (Linda) Williams of Wheatfield, Ind., 1 Daughter-in-Law: Carol Williams of Frankfort, Sister, Betty Rolph of England.14 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael Eugene Williams and Richard Williams Jr., and a daughter, Mary Diane Kressel.
Services:
Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, Ind. Visitation will begin at 12 noon until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
