Kathleen M. Price

Kathleen M. Price, 98, passed away on December 8, 2017, at Wesley Manor in Frankfort, IN.  She was born on March 2, 1919, in Kilmore, IN, to Wilbur H. and Edna (Jenkins) Cohee.  She married William A.T. Price on April 7, 1940, in Michigantown, IN. She and Bill had two daughters, Judy and Joyce.

After graduating from Michigantown High School and Huffer Beauty School, Kathleen worked as a beautician in Frankfort. Later she was employed at Alden’s Department Store in Frankfort for 5 ½ years and then at Clinton County Bank for 20 years, retiring on August 31, 1981. She was a member of Michigantown Christian Church and was also active in various organizations including Priscilla Club, Women’s Council, Busy Bees, Clinton County Diners Club, and Home Study Club. In later years, she particularly enjoyed baking, quilting, and working crossword puzzles. She was known by family, friends, and neighbors for her pies, cookies, and dessert breads.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Judy Michal, Crawfordsville, IN.; son-in-law Selden Trimble, Rolla, MO; grandsons David (Leigh Anne) Michal, Madison, AL; Rich (Susan) Michal, Indianapolis, IN; Chris (Tiffany) Michal, Prairieville, LA; and Sel Trimble, Sioux Falls, SD; granddaughter Kathleen Trimble, Sommerville, MA; 12 great grandchildren; sister Carolyn (Don) Judd, Long Boat Key, Florida; and brother-in-law, Roy Crum, Michigantown. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Bill Price, daughter Joyce Trimble, son-in-law Phil Michal, and two sisters, Margaret Huffer and Luella Crum.

Funeral services for Kathleen will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. J.
