Kenneth K. Koppelmann, 70, of Lafayette, Ind., died December 14, 2022 at Aster Place, Lafayette. He was born March 25, 1952 in Freeport, NY to George William & Dorothy (Ostrowsky) Koppelmann. He married Melissa S. Robinson on September 25, 1971 in Frankfort and she survives.
Kenneth was a 1970 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He was the production manager for the Frankfort Times for over 35 years, retiring in 2017. Kenneth was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and active in the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered for the Democratic Party in Clinton County. Kenneth loved music, especially the Eagles, going to many Eagles concerts with Melissa. He also loved flamingo’s, the Colts, working on and taking great pride in his yard, fireworks, but his biggest joy was family gatherings and his grandchildren.
Surviving along with his Wife: Melissa Koppelmann of Lafayette are his Daughter: Jennifer (Brad) Morland of Lafayette; Brother: George Koppelmann Jr. of Monticello; Grandchildren: Connor & Kevin Ferdinand; and Great-Grandchildren: Ella Grace & Everett Ferdinand. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Stacy Koppelmann and siblings, Ritchie Koppelmann & Mary Ellen Walker.
A Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society.
