Kerry C. Roberts, 60, of Frankfort, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 29, 2023. He was born October 27, 1962, in Frankfort to Jerry and Karen (Dowden) Roberts.
He was a 1981 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School. He worked at Exide Battery where he also served as a Union Rep., and then Mallory Timers, and finally Wal-Mart before retiring in June of 2022. He was a member of the Frankfort Moose Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, pitching horseshoes, fishing, working on derby cars, working out in the yard, and watching Colts football, Purdue football and basketball, and racing. His favorite holiday was Halloween and enjoyed watching horror movies and sharing that and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Rebecca (Don) Bruns, Rachelle Rose, Kyle Roberts, Kristopher Roberts, Brittany (Jason Baker) Hall, Daniel Roberts; siblings, Tammy Martin, Rodney (Melissa) Roberts, Dallas Roberts; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his best friend and former wife, Cindy Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents; a brother, Kevin Roberts; a grandchild, Jadyn Roberts.
Visitation will be 4-7pm on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 4, at 1pm at the funeral home. Tim Moser will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Kerry’s honor to the OI Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
