Kerry Lou (Breeze) Greeno, age 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026.
Born on October 1, 1936, in Frankfort, Indiana, Kerry lived a life marked by devotion to her family, kindness toward others, and quiet strength. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose presence brought warmth and comfort to those fortunate enough to know her.
Kerry was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Donald Greeno; her mother, Faye (Stout) Taylor; her father, Earl Breeze; her brother, Earl Breeze, Jr. (“Sonny”), and Ian Bockting, her great-grandson.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Greeno, and daughter-in-law, Joan Signorille; her daughter, Cynthia Berger, and son-in-law, Richard Berger; her grandchildren, Andrew Greeno, Amber Greeno, Tristan Greeno, and Adam Bockting; and her great-grandsons, Owen and Nathan Bockting. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
Kerry’s greatest joy was her family. She took pride in watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow and thrive, and she shared her love generously through every stage of their lives. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely.
A graveside memorial service will be held on August 20, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, Indiana.
In memory of Kerry Greeno, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust (The CART Fund), supporting the search for treatments and a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.
Kerry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
