The Kirklin Hoosier 4-H club and The Kirklin Volunteer Fire and EMS hosted their annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday April 16th.
It was a chilly start at 10 AM at the Kirklin Town Park. The 4-H group and their families met on Thursday and packed over 3000 eggs with goodies.
Every child that came to the hunt was given a treat bag with prizes, candy and a ticket. The Zionsville Fire Department allowed Kirklin to use Sparky the Fire dog again this year. The children enjoyed having their picture taken with him.
After each of the age groups found all the eggs baskets were given out containing goodies and prizes to the 10 golden egg recipients.
Several more door prizes were called out until the final ticket was drawn for a brand new bike.
Congratulations to all of the winners.
The group said they appreciate the park and recreation board for allowing them to host the hunt at the park, And to Kirks Crossing Festival for the use of the sound system. They want to thank Erick Dircks and Clinton County Daily news for all of the coverage and for continued support. Pam says they appreciate so many families making this hunt a part of their Easter Weekend plans and Thank you to everyone who helped in any way.
Also food was taken up for the Michigantown area food pantry.
