Recent flooding events in the Town of Kirklin have prompted local officials to begin work on a Stormwater Master Plan aimed at improving the community’s stormwater collection system.
As part of the planning process, the Town of Kirklin and its engineering consultant, Commonwealth Engineers, Inc., are asking residents and property owners to complete a storm sewer survey.
According to the town, feedback from residents will provide valuable information to help identify flooding concerns and determine how the community’s stormwater system can be improved.
Residents may have recently completed a similar survey, but the town is asking them to complete this survey as well because it will provide additional insight into flooding issues throughout Kirklin.
Survey Deadline
Residents are asked to complete the online survey by September 12, 2026.
The survey can be accessed by scanning the QR code provided on the town’s notice or by visiting:
Residents are reminded to complete a separate survey form for each property they have in Kirklin, if applicable.
The information gathered through the survey will assist the Town of Kirklin and Commonwealth Engineers in developing a Stormwater Master Plan and identifying ways to better address flooding and stormwater concerns in the community.
Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to provide their feedback before the September 12 deadline.
