Kirk’s Crossing Kicks Off With Famous Fish Fry Thursday

Story contributor Pamela Clements

The Kirk’s Crossing Festival was kicked off by The Kirklin Volunteer Fire Department and EMS with their annual Fish and Tenderloin supper. It was held in person with dine in and carry out this year at the fire station. Everyone was glad to return to this annual event with neighbors and old friends visiting maybe for the first time in a year. Our attendance was appreciated and over 680 were served. On display, out front of the station was the fire departments first fire truck which was restored several years ago. We want to thank Dan’s Fish for returning again this year. We had extra help from family members of our department, members of The Kirklin Hoosier 4-H club and a several of Clinton County Jr leaders. Thank you Erick Dirck’s for the video and your continued coverage of our events. We really appreciate all of the communities support. KVFD
