Kokomo Man Charged With Child Pornography, Child Molest, Sexual Misconduct With A Minor

An investigation continues into a 20-year-old Kokomo man accused of sexual misconduct with a minor following a report from a West Virginia agency regarding a victim that may be connected to the man in reference to child solicitation and exploitation.

On Feb. 10, a report was filed with the Kokomo Police Department regarding sexual misconduct allegations with a minor, and a warrant was issued for the suspect, David Johns, 20, of Kokomo. Johns was reportedly arrested on Feb. 19 for sexual misconduct with a minor, child exploitation, possession of child pornography and importation of obscene matter.

On March 1, the Kokomo Police Office was reportedly contacted by the West Virginia State Police indicating that Johns was a possible suspect in a child solicitation and exploitation case in their jurisdiction.

The department is still conducting investigations as there may be other victims. Community members with any further information can contact 765-456-7017.
