At approximately 12:06 a.m. Wednesday, officers of the Kokomo Police Department responded to 803 E. Broadway St. in reference to a shooting. Upon Officer’s arrival, they located a male inside of the residence with multiple gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to St. Vincent Hospital Emergency Room where he was pronounced deceased at 123:38 a.m.
The victim was identified as 42 year old Sharman M. Pearson II, of Kokomo. An autopsy is being scheduled under the direction of the Coroner’s Office at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo.
