On November 29, 2017, at approximately 3:17 p.m., officers of the Kokomo Police Department responded to 5215 Ojibway Drive on a report of a male subject with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers located Randall W. Rogers, age 28, of that address, a victim of a single gunshot wound to the head.
The investigation revealed Rogers was shot by an 11-year-old juvenile relative. The juvenile also resided at that address. The juvenile was detained at the Kinsey Youth Center for a Delinquent Act that would be Voluntary Manslaughter, if the crime was committed by an adult.
This case is under investigation by the Kokomo Police Department and the Howard County Coroner’s Office.
