Kyle Anthony Crowder Langkop, 25, of Colfax, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at IU Health Hospital in Frankfort. He was born June 10, 1992, in Lafayette; his parents, Anthony J. Crowder, of St. Cloud, Fla., and Stacie Leann (Brian) Lyman, of Colfax, survive.
He attended Clinton Prairie Schools where he had played football and later Frankfort Senior High School. Kyle enjoyed all sports, music, skateboarding, NASCAR, and dirt bikes. Being family orientated, Kyle greatly loved his time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by his son, Bently Langkop; sister, Tisha Crowder Langkop, of Frankfort; brother, Steven Crowder Langkop, of Colfax; niece, Harmony Smith; grandparents, Carol and Jerry Langkop, of Frankfort, and Cindy and David Spray, of Florida; step-grandfather, Leroy Lyman, of Colfax; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kyle is preceded in death by his step-grandmother, Rita Lyman; great-grandparents, Charles and Virginia Langkop, Beatrice and Benson Harshman, and Virginia Lee Duke.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 11:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Brad Fullerton will officiate.
