The last time Clinton Central Lady Bulldogs defeated Clinton Prairie Lady Gophers was 2010. That streak is over. Tuesday evening the Bulldogs defeated the Gophers at Clinton Central 45-43 in a conference game .
The Bulldogs would lead by 13 in the first half but the third quarter was all Gophers. The lady Gophers took a three point lead with about four minutes to go but the Bulldogs fought back and won the game in final seconds.
Top scorers for the Bulldogs was Carly Davison with 15 points, Erika Robbins 12 points, Sara Parkison with 7, Kortney Surber 6.
Top scorers for the Gophers was Claire Ecenbarger and Kaitlyn Beck each with 12 points, and Abbey Swan adding 8 points.
Clinton Central JV lost 35-30 to the Gophers.
Top scorers for Clinton Central was Emily Long with 9 points, and AnnaMae Metzinger adding 6 points.
Clinton Prairie top scorers were Natalee King with 10 points, and Ava Brewer adding 8 points.
