The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that crews will conduct lane and shoulder closures on U.S. 31 starting on or after Wednesday, April 9 for the installation of a median cable barrier in Howard and Tipton counties.
Inside lane and shoulder closures will occur between State Road 26 and State Road 28, which will progress from north to south as work is completed.
Installation is expected to continue further south on U.S. 31 later this year, ending near I-465 in Carmel.
