LARS to Announce First ‘Wall of Fame’ Member Saturday

LARS (Life Around Rossville School), the Alumni Organization of the Rossville Consolidated School Corporation, has begun a “Wall of Fame”. Our goal is to recognize and honor Rossville graduates who have made a significant contribution to our country and society.

Our first recipient will be Major Richard Davies, RHS Class of 1958 and Purdue University Class of 1963. As a pilot for the USAF, Davies flew reconnaissance all over the world to keep our country safe. He received many awards for his service including the Distinguished Flying Cross with two Oak Clusters. He will be honored posthumously at a ceremony on Saturday, August 24, at 1:30 p.m. His second wife Becky will be here to hang his plaque.

Family, friends, classmates and the public are invited to attend. Please enter the gym doors on the north east side of the school. The ceremony will be on the west side of the gym.
