Laura passed away after a 4-month-long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Eaton; parents, James and Leah Galvin; sister, Eileen; and brother, Paul.
She is survived by her son Clint (Heather) Eaton; daughter, Nikki Eaton; grandchildren, Armand (Katie) Eaton, Mac Eaton, Landon Venusnand Vlad Eaton; great grandson, Ryden Eaton; her great granddaughter on the way; sister, Pam (Jeff) Fisher; and numerous extended family members.
Laura graduated from Lebanon high school. She then attended Circleville Bible College, and Ivy Tech state College. She was employed over the years at various places in the community, most notably The Reporter office.
She was an active member of the Colfax Wesleyan Church. Laura enjoyed embroidery, reading and spending time with her grandkids and friends playing games.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Boone County Fairgrounds, in the annex building, 1300 East 100 South, in Lebanon, Indiana. Scott Highlander to officiate. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation.
