Lebanon Bests Frankfort in Girls Basketball Sectionals

The Lebanon Lady Tigers defeated the Frankfort Lady Hot Dogs 58-12 on Wednesday night to advance to the Sectional Semifinal.

Lebanon, the host of Sectional 25, took advantage early and was in control throughout.

The Tigers advance to play Danville, who defeated Tri-West 53-40 in their opening round matchup.

Danville defeated Lebanon in the regular season, a game that was played before Christmas.

After the regular season lost to Danville, the Tigers went on a five-game skid before turning it around down the stretch of the regular season.

Lebanon has now won six of its last eight games and will look to get revenge against the Warriors.

Tigers head coach Aaron Vaughn, in his second season with Lebanon, earned his first career victory in the State Tournament.

The Hot Dogs finish the season with a record of 1-23 in their first year under Bethany Meachum.
