The City of Lebanon Fire Department recently celebrated the promotion of a firefighter to Captain as he continues to serve the community of Lebanon and Boone County.
The department announced that Sam Dougherty was promoted to Captain at the Fire Department due to his continued dedication and leadership that he has showcased throughout the years inside the department and throughout the community.
“Captain Dougherty is a lead from the front officer with a strong work ethic,” the department released. “His passion and drive to serve is second to none. Sam is a Hoosier Burn Camp counselor, Public Information Officer for LFD and our CPR Coordinator.”
