Lebanon Imagination Library Shows Success After One Year

The Lebanon Public Library is celebrating a full year of having Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in the Lebanon community with a focus on the impact of the program for engaging youth in reading.

The Lebanon Public Library and Friends of the Lebanon Public Library sponsor the Imagination Library for children ages 0 to 4 in the 46052 zip code, and the library stated that it has seen outstanding success.

According to the library, over 852 children received free books that were mailed directly to their home in the past year, and the Imagination Library has shipped 7,602 books over the past year to the Lebanon area to be enjoyed by the families in the community.

According to the library, within one year, 750 children are currently registered in the 46052 zip code, 102 children have graduated from the program after turning five years old, 7,602 books have been shipped in the Lebanon area and all community members who are eligible are encouraged to sign up for the program.
