Lebanon Police Department Will Host First Car Seat Class This August

The Lebanon Police Department announced its first car seat safety class for new parents, soon-to-be parents and those who are unfamiliar with the mechanisms of car seats to learn more about the safety and correct installation procedures of car seats.

The one-hour class will be held on Aug. 3 at 9 a.m. at the Lebanon Police Department, and the class will be immediately followed by car seat inspections and hands-on installation by the Lebanon Police Department car seat safety technician.

For the class, possession of a car seat is not required, but the department stated that community members will benefit from the class in more depth due to the inspections and installation procedures following the class if a car seat has been obtained.

For more information regarding the car seat class, contact Officer Michael Custis at [email protected].

“We hope to see you there,” the department released.

Community members may sign up here to attend the class in August.

Xavy Relgalado of Frankfort enjoys his car seat at the clinic sponsored by Healthy Communities of Clinton County Coalition.
