Only a few months ahead of the solar eclipse that will shroud much of Boone County and areas of Clinton County in totality on April 8, the City of Lebanon has begun curating a time capsule that will be opened in 319 years.
The City of Lebanon has asked for the community to provide ideas for the contents placed within the 2024 Lebanon Eclipse Time Capsule, which will be opened the next time that Lebanon is within the path of totality on Feb. 25, 2343.
Community members are encouraged to share their ideas of what should be preserved for the future residents of Lebanon to discover by leaving a comment on the post on Lebanon, Indiana’s Facebook page or by emailing [email protected].
