The Lebanon Public Library closed on Oct. 28 to allow for crews to work on installing new front doors for the building with a preliminary reopen date of Nov. 17 that was extended to Nov. 25.
The library stated that since the front doors are under construction, no entryway will be available for patrons, resulting in the need to close the library for the temporary timeframe.
The library stated that due dates have been extended until Nov. 25 for all materials. All fines will be removed from accounts that hold materials until after Nov. 25.
The library stated that patrons may visit the Hussey-Mayfield Public Library branches or the Thorntown Public Library for checkouts or returns during the closure.
