The Lebanon Community School Corporation has announced that registration for the 2024 Alumni Game has opened for July 27 at the soccer complex for school alumni to flex their soccer skills and Tiger pride in a showdown game.
The 2024 Alumni Game is slated for 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 27 at the soccer complex to raise money for scholarships that are distributed to two graduating seniors every year. The current players of the Lebanon High School soccer team will gear up to face of against the alumni teams during the event, and if enough alumni register for the event, a third-half faceoff between two alumni teams will be scheduled.
For this year, the school has implemented four changes for the games, including admission being free for all spectators, credit card fees for the alumni registration will be absorbed by the team, the concession stand will be open on a limited basis and the backstop netting will be up for the game.
Alumni must register before July 17 to guarantee receipt of a shirt for the game. Following the game, the alumni players will be invited to a gathering off-site to host conversations with each other, reminisce about their time at Lebanon schools and discuss their current lives and future goals. Food and beverages will be provided during the event. The location for the gathering will be provided at the game.
