The Lebanon Tigers and Zionsville Eagles both advanced to the Sectional Championship games in their respective brackets.
Lebanon will host Huntington North and Zionsville will travel to Westfield.
Sectional 20 Championship – Lebanon (9-2) vs Huntington North (8-3), 7:00 p.m. at LHS Field.
The Tigers started the season 1-2, and since then, they’ve rattled off eight wins in a row including a three-point victory over Culver Academies and taking down Logansport by a touchdown in the last two weeks.
The Vikings of Huntington North come with four straight blowout victories under their belt. They took down Frankfort 77-8 and then downed Marion 45-6 in the first two rounds of Sectionals.
The winner will take on the winner of FW Dwenger and East Noble in the Regional Championship.
Sectional 3 Championship – Zionsville (4-6) at Westfield (9-1), 7:00 p.m. at Stanley Stadium.
The Eagles lost four straight before entering the tournament but were able to get past Carmel in the opening round. Scott Turnquist started his tenure with Zionsville with three straight Sectional Championships but has fallen short each of the last two years. They’ll have a chance to get back to their winning ways on Friday.
The Shamrocks enter after blanking Harrison a week ago 49-0. Through the first six weeks, the Shamrocks’ offense averaged 25 points per game, in the last four games they’ve bumped that average to 46.
The winner will take on the winner of Hamilton SE and Fishers in the Regional Championship.
