The Johnson family is celebrating the life of Lewis “Buttons” Johnson, 69, of Frankfort. Buttons passed away lovingly surrounded by family on June 23, 2020 at IU Arnett Health Hospital, Lafayette.
Buttons graduated Hamilton Heights High School in 1970 and retired after 37 years with the Sun Chemical Corporation in Frankfort. Buttons was an avid fisherman and was Tournament Director with Frankfort Bass Casters Fishing Club. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, IU basketball, Cincinnati Reds, and Cincinnati Bengals. His giving heart will be missed by all that knew him.

Buttons also grandfathered 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Buster and Hazel (Bowling) Johnson and his three brothers, Bobby, Bill, and Johnny.
