Lewis L. Mundell, 81, of Frankfort, Ind. died March 11, 2019 at Clinton House Aperion Care, Frankfort. He was born July 3, 1937 in Cutler, Indiana to Wayne & Marion (Schimmel) Mundell. He married Betty J. Walker on May 4, 1963 and they later divorced. He then married Claudia K. Lynch on November 29, 1991 and she survives.
Mr. Mundell was a 1955 graduate of Cutler High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident. A veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1956-1962. He worked for Eli Lilly for 25 years, retiring in 1993. He then worked at the Frankfort Municipal Airport for 5 years. Lewis was a member of the New Life Assemble of God in Frankfort, American Legion, former member of the VFW, Moose Lodge, Frankfort Bass Casters, lifetime member of the NRA and North American Hunting Club and was involved in the Clinton County Jail Anger Management class and was a Setting Addicts Free Eternally (S.A.F.E.) Instructor as well. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking.

Mundell of Frankfort, Daughter: Joann (Jim) Spaulding of Frankfort, 2 Sons: Wayne (Sue) Mundell of Frankfort, Kentucky and James (Belinda) Mundell of Delphi, 2 Step-Daughters: Stacey (Jerry) O’Dell of Monticello and Deanna (Dan) Perkins of Frankfort, Step-Son: Jason (Vicki) Buis of Buffalo, Ind., 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Mundell.
Funeral Celebration:
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at New Life Assembly of God, 2025 Washington Ave., Frankfort. Funeral Celebration will be 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Goodwin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
