Lillian Amy (Good) Money

Lillian Amy (Good) Money, 92, of rural Frankfort, passed away February 1, 2023, surrounded by her family in IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette following a brief illness.

Born December 1, 1930, in Frankfort, Lillian was the daughter of Willard N. and Beatrice (Carter) Good.  She graduated from Little Jeff High School in Jefferson. She married Herbert Timmons in 1949, and they divorced in 1974.  She married Milford Money in 1980, and he preceded her in death in 2000.

Lillian began her career at Mac’s Hamburgers and Mac’s Steakhouse, then worked as a cook at Wesley Manor for many years.  She also provided many volunteer hours at Frankfort/IU Frankfort Hospital.

She was a member of Farmers Chapel and St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary, Moose Lodge #7, and Order of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed flowers and gardening, her volunteer work at the hospital, playing slot machines, scratching lottery tickets, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

Lillian is survived by her sons, Terry L. (Patty) Timmons, Sr., Larry J. Timmons, Sr., and Mark Alan (Brenda) Timmons; stepson, Danny K. (Debbie) Money, Sr.; stepdaughter-in-law, Laura J. (Larry) Boggs; grandchildren, Terry (Kellie) Timmons, Jr., Sherry (Tom) Stephens, Missy (Paul) Cornell, Megan (Ryan) Longenecker, Brian Timmons, Larry (Yolanda) Timmons, Jr., Matt (Dawn) Timmons, Carmen Timmons, and Cadin Gunyon; step-grandchildren, Sandi Money, Danny Money, Jr., Mike Money, Kieth Money, Paul Money, Deanna Lowery, and Kim (Chad) Adkins; 31 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Lillian in death are her parents; her husband; two sons, Randy Timmons and Gary Timmons; a sister; and brother, Leroy D. Good.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral Service will be Monday, February 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Shan Sheridan officiating.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.  Memorials in Lillian’s name may be made to IU Health Hospice.  Messages of condolence to the family are welcomed at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
