Lillian Fuller

Lillian Edith Fuller, 93, of Frankfort, went home to be with her Savior on December 24, 2018 at Wesley Manor Retirement Community.  She was born on June 11, 1925 in Paterson, NJ to Lambert Ambrose and Jesse (Steenstra) Petzinger.  She married Richard H. Fuller on July 1, 1950 and he survives.  She graduated from Eastern Christian High School in New Jersey and Wheaton College in Illinois.  She was a high school science teacher before retiring to focus on family.  Lillian will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother, a devoted Christ follower, a diligent student of the Bible, a faithful prayer warrior, a kind and wise counselor and a joyful observer of all aspects of God’s creation.  She taught women’s Bible studies for decades, bringing practical applications of God’s word to several generations.  In retirement, Lillian and Richard found great joy in serving as grandparents for the Royal Family Kids Camp sponsored by the Houghton Wesleyan Church in New Jersey, a ministry to abused and neglected children.  She loved to sew and made her own clothes throughout much of her life.  Her quilts and quilted wall hangings are treasured by family and friends.

Surviving along with her husband:  Richard are her Sister:  Ethel DeSee of Wyckoff, NJ;  3 Children:  Marilyn (Paul) Copeland of Frankfort, Timothy (Carol) Fuller of Indianapolis, and Jonathan (Kate) Fuller of Phoenix, AZ;  8 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.  She was preceded in death by her son: Stephen Richard Fuller in 1951.

A Memorial Service is planned in the near future. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
