Linda’s laugh was contagious…we will miss it. Her capacity to love unconditionally was priceless in a selfish world. Her life-time ability to not be judgmental created a safe harbor. Her childlike trust was a reminder for us all to be kinder. The miraculous way she had of being so easy and quick to forgive was humbling. Her dedication to family no-matter-what was a treasure. Her sincere love and affection for all her nieces and nephews, was selfless.
Linda had a sheer absence of vanity that stood like a lightning rod to those less secure, who felt a need to “paint their faces” or wear just the right thing. Her late night creative peanut butter and onion sandwich was just as unique as she was. Her mischievous grin after catching others off guard with her lack of a filter was entertaining.
It seems God gave her to us all like gift…And now….Who do we tell our stories to? Who will laugh with robust enthusiasm? Who will live for the moment? Who will say the things the rest of us might just be thinking? Who will remember everything like our memory keeper? And who will show us all how to live with reckless abandon? She was what some would have called a simple person…yet there was always a twinkle in her eye that no one else has ever had. Like she knew something the rest of us only dream about.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 4-7pm at the Wilshire Apartment Club House. Genda Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
