Linda E. Ault, 72, of rural Frankfort, passed away January 21, 2026 at her home.  She was born January 4, 1954 in Mt. Clemens, MI to Charles E. & Martha (Lilly) Packard.  She married Kevin R. Ault on March 21, 1981 in Bloomington, IN and he survives.

Linda graduated from high school in Bloomington, received her BA degree from Ball State and her Masters from Purdue University.  She started her career in art, teaching in elementary art and continued to high school art where she finished after 32 years at Clinton Central.  Linda was a committed member at the Michigantown United Methodist Church where she served as lay speaker furthering her dedication to her faith. She loved and supported the Frankfort Public Library not only participating in the art show but coordinating the art show that displayed the four county school’s talents.  An active member in the community, she worked the election polls to ensure fair and free elections.  She was a dedicated member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority, an organization which encouraged and supported her love of teaching and art.  She was also a member of the Wooley Fibers Club, where they did rug hooking.  Linda was crafty, artistic, enjoyed jewelry making, especially working with beads, and pottery work. Caring for her family was important to Linda, she was a wonderful mother and an amazing friend to all.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kevin of rural Frankfort, son, Nathaniel C. (Erika) Ault of Lafayette, daughter, Danielle M. (Fiancé Steve Schuyler) Tucek of Westfield, brother, Vernon (Teresa) Packard of Bloomington, 6 grandchildren, Statton Ault, Haley Gentry, Grace Allen, Henry Tucek, Lincoln Tucek, Madelyn Schuyler, special niece and nephew, Lisa Marsh, Keith Davis as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Cathy Davis and brother, Geoffrey Packard.
