Linda Ellen Walker

Linda Ellen Walker, 71, Frankfort, passed away Friday, June 17, 2021, at Columbus Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born July 7, 1950 in Frankfort to Fredrick and Doris (Ohlemacher) Wilson.  On November 23, 1973, she married the love of her life, Donald Walker and he survives.

Linda was a 1970 graduate of Frankfort High School.  She worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken, National Seal, Electrical Wire and Family Dollar.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Women of the Moose, and the Wilson Skating Family.  Linda was a positive, strong, and encouraging woman that enjoyed laughing, pulling pranks, having pranks pulled on her, and making others laugh. She loved monkeys.  Above all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Along with her husband of 48 years, Linda is survived by her son, Christopher (Amy Shehan-Walker) Walker; daughter, Kelli (Mark) Ray; sisters, Becky Ticen and Kim Ray; brother, Ray (Bev) Wilson; grandchildren, Dakota Walker, Caroline Andrus, Annabelle Andrus, Allison Walker; in-laws, Frank Adams, David Sebree, and Barbara Quigg; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Adams and Sandy Sebree; and in-laws, Bob Ray, Bill and Alice Walker, and Rick Quigg.

Visitation will be held, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 10am until the time of the service at 12pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Pastor Chuck Williams will officiate.  Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s honor to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, the American Lung Association and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  Messages of condolence may be left at www.gendafuneralhome.com
