The Lions Club of Frankfort would like to say thank you to the Frankfort community for coming out to our first annual Fish Fry since the pandemic. Dan, of Dan’s Fish Fry, was happy to see all of us returning and enjoying each other’s company.
This fundraiser will help sponsor two $500 high school scholarships and help the Lions purchase take home books for the Head start students’ monthly reading programs.
The Lions continue to screen students vision in the schools and pre-K classes as well as working with school nurses if a student needs eye glass replacements.
Lions’ along with the Park’s department, also sponsor Dorner Park and there are good developments happening there beyond the sprucing up of the horseshoe court. Get excited. Keep watching here for new activities coming to the park.
