Local Business Donates Over 700 Pounds Of Food to The Humane Society For Boone County

Amidst influxes of puppies and dogs being surrendered or brought to The Humane Society for Boone County, a local business elected to donate over 700-pounds of puppy and dog food to aid in the organization’s efforts to locate foster and forever families for the animals of Boone County.

The Humane Society announced on Monday, July 1 that over 700-pounds of dry dog and puppy food was donated among other supplies from the local Tractor Supply in Lebanon, providing opportunities for the residents of the shelter to enjoy their time as they await foster or forever families to adopt them.
