LSO’s B-Side Series presents brass showcase ‘Blown Away’ on June 12

Information Provided by the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra

The Lafayette Symphony Orchestra continues its B-Side Series this spring with Track 6: Blown Away, a one-night-only performance featuring an eclectic mix of classical charmers, pop favorites, and patriotic anthems.

The concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Rat Pak Venue in downtown Lafayette. The featured brass quintet includes Brian Hoover and Macy Stewart on trumpet, Sharon Weyser on French horn, Todd McCready on trombone, and William Schmidt on tuba.

Known for its relaxed, informal setting, the B-Side Series offers one-hour performances with no intermission, a cash bar, and general admission seating. The series is designed to showcase the creative versatility of LSO musicians in a more intimate venue than the traditional concert hall. All ages are welcome.

Tickets are $15 general admission and can be purchased at lafayettesymphony.org or by calling 765-742-6463. Doors and box office open at 6:30 p.m.

The B-Side Series is made possible by the generous support of Gene and Linda Marshall.
