Lynn Allan Crow

Lynn Allan Crow, 58, of Rossville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, in Rockingham, Virginia.

Born November 25, 1963, in Lafayette, Indiana, Lynn was the son of Charles Cedric Crow and Ruth Wilma (Dunk) Crow.

Lynn loved the spirit of competition. He was passionate about anything that went fast. Memories of go-karting, waterskiing and racing always made him smile. He was a star player on the Rossville High School basketball team. He took great pride in later becoming an assistant coach to his Rossville Hornets and coaching them to the 2002 State Championship. One of Lynn’s greatest passions was auto racing.  He was actively hands-on with his sprint car team.

Lynn completed his degree at ITT Technical Institute in Manufacturing Engineering. He was the owner of Aidex Corporation, Aidex Graphics, DCT (Dreams Come True) Racing and a part-owner in Buckeye Educational Systems. His companies reach across nine states, representing manufacturers world-wide to provide future leaders with technological resources. It gave him no greater joy than to work with his daughter Savannah in a real estate venture, Blackbird House. Alongside his father, he grew a love for farming.  Lynn continued to work side-by-side with his cousins in the farming business, carrying on the tradition.  His place of solace was watching the sunsets during planting and harvest. Lynn used every business venture as means to provide for and mentor others. His ideas were grand and impactful. No one knew what the next grand plan would be.  Lynn was unique, generous and kind, providing support to many. He made a lasting impact on those around him.

Lynn is survived by his beloved mother Ruth, his wife Aimee, and his most cherished children: Savannah Crow, Kendall (Joshua) Kisfalusi, Carson Crow, Madison Crow, Samantha Scott, Kailyn Scott and Jacob Scott.  He is also survived by two sisters Cindy (Ned) Gangwer and Carmen (Todd) Bordner, Charli and Bill “Mom and Dad” Johnson, Auntie Nancy, sister and brother-in-love Emily and Jason Faimon, and many treasured cousins, nieces and nephews, all for whom he cared deeply.  His husky, Indy, will also miss him deeply.

Lynn is preceded in death by his father and best friend, Charlie Crow.
