Magdalene “Maggie” Sue Hefling passed away unexpectedly at her home in Frankfort on April 4, 2023, just two days before her 23rd birthday. She was born April 6, 2000, in Lafayette, to Timothy Roger and Lisa (Vinard) Hefling.
Maggie was a 2018 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School where she played clarinet in the high school band and was drum major. She attended Ball State University for one and a half years and was also in the band. For the past three years, Maggie worked at The Farmers Bank, most recently as a Teller Supervisor and attended Faith Family Church.
Maggie spent many hours reading to children at Blue Ridge School. She had a very good sense of humor, loved singing, listening to music (especially Post Malone), hanging out with her friends, country cruisin’, and watching SpongeBob and Trailer Park Boys.
Surviving Maggie are her mother, Lisa; brother, Timmy Hefling; grandmother, Glenda Vinard; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her “posse” of loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandfather, paternal grandparents, and a brother, Joshua Vinard.
