Maggie Ann Compton Teter, 44, of Frankfort, died March 16, 2023 at the home of her mother. She was born December 16, 1978 in Frankfort to Charles David Compton & Joyce Ann (Hemmerling) Wire. She m
arried Edward “Pete” Teter on October 16, 1999 and he survives.
Maggie was a 1997 graduate of Sullivan High School in Sullivan, Ind. She had worked for Clinton County Hospital and Clinton House Health & Rehabilitation. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge and had worked there parttime. Maggie was also in a bowling league. She enjoyed traveling with her family.
She is survived by her husband: Edward “Pete” Teter of Frankfort, mother: Joyce (Brian “Hair Bear”) Wire of Colfax, father: Charles David Compton of Sullivan, daughters: Aubrey Jean Teter of Frankfort, Payton Shea Teter of Frankfort, sister: Christian Lynn “Danielle” Compton (Seth Smith) of Rossville, grandmother: Wanda Hemmerling of Frankfort, and niece: Adrienne Compton (Cody Lawler) of Frankfort.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
