Marca Lou Ford

Marca Lou Ford, 87, formerly of Frankfort, Ind., died May 19, 2020 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Ind.  She was born January 2, 1933 in North Salem, Ind. to Orville & Mary (Clemens) Batts.  She married Lowell Pharon Ford on June 5, 1952 in Lebanon, Ind. and he preceded her in death on June 23, 2016.

Marca was a 1952 graduate of Jackson Township School.  She was a homemaker who loved and adored all of her grandchildren, enjoyed playing cards with her sisters and was of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by 2 Daughters:  Debra Wilson of Lafayette, Paula (Chris) Fausett of rural Rossville, 1 Son:  Don (Debbie) Ford of Frankfort, 1 Sister:  Margaret (Walter) Lowery of Thorntown, Brother:  Lanny (Mary) Batts of Lebanon, 4 Grandchildren:  Maggie (Dustin) Morgan of Arizona, Ross (Chastity) Ford of rural Frankfort, Bethany (Phillipe) Sallade of Rossville, Luke (Jenna) Fausett of Fort Wayne, 9 Great Grandchildren, Hank, Beckett, Elias, Aurora, Samuel, Lowell, Gillian, Quentin and Deven and 1 Great Great Grandchild, Henley.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Charles Batts & Orville ‘Vic’ Batts, 2 sisters, Joan Smith and Jean Gregg, 3 grandsons, Brandon Cook, Wesley Kingma and Joshua Kingma.

Funeral Celebration:

 Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St. Frankfort.  Following the guidelines established by the State of Indiana in response to the COVID-19, we will be allowing up to 25 people in the funeral home at a time.  When you arrive at the funeral home parking lot, staff members will provide directions.  We appreciate your cooperation and patience.   Funeral services will be 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Pastor Luke Fausett, her grandson, will officiate.
