Margaret Louise Beaver, 89, of Mulberry, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Creasy Spring Health Campus in Lafayette. She was born in Clinton County on November 10, 1934, to Doyle and Viola (Tribbett) Burns. She married Robert G. Beaver on October 3, 1952. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2010.
Margaret was a graduate of Mulberry High School. She worked for Meridian Insurance Company and Kentland Dairy in Mulberry. She enjoyed being a wife and mother and raising her family and running the home. She was a member of Trinity Church, Mulberry’s Mother Club, and Home Study Circle. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children, R. Steven (Mary) Beaver, Randy (Kathy) Beaver, LuAnn (Jerry) Sporich, Annette (Gerry) Neal; grandchildren, Christopher (Tammy) Beaver, Angela (Bryce) Strader, Jeremiah (Giovana) Beaver, Nathaniel (Anne) Beaver, Amanda (Jonathan) Hardebeck, Philip Ratliff, Kendra (Doug) Johnson, Taylor (Drue) Thompson, Jason Neal, Julie (Mike) Poffenbarger, Robert (Kailey) Neal; eighteen great grandchildren; and several nieces
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charlie (Kitty) Burns; and nephews, Victor Burns, David Beaver, and Mike Beaver.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, from 9am until the time of the service at 11am Trinity Church in Mulberry. Pastor Carolyn DeWitt will officiate. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Cemetery. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Mulberry Chapel is assisting with the arrangements.
